The reality TV star was accused of lightening her skin after posting a photo of herself out and about at restaurant Catch LA in West Hollywood, California. She was shown wearing a platinum-blond wig and all dolled up, sporting a full-glam makeup look.
The mother of one took to her Instagram on Monday and captioned the image of herself “Such a fkn lady 💕 #siliconepasties #pasties.”
Despite her post receiving over 40,000 likes, several observers pointed out Kalysha’s apparent lighter skin shade.
“Don’t like this look,” one fan wrote. “White older woman. 😕 You way too beautiful for this. Tell your make up person… Black is beautiful!”
Another added, “Sis your not that light. Switch ua make up UP!! Or stop messing wit yo skin”
Someone else commented, “You get whiter and whiter”
Clearly fed up with the backlash, the 34-year-old curtly responded, “Great it’s working! I soak in milk and bleach a week 😍 #stfu 🙄 dumbass”
Fans of the “GUHHATL” star chimed in underneath her response.
“@masikakalysha they don’t know about angles or lighting lol poor souls 🤦🏽 they better learn not to come for you”
“Why they so mad you lite skin wtf 😂 they act like flash and makeup don’t make u even lighter jeez 🙄”
During a March interview with 99 JAMZ host Supa Cindy, Kalysha actually bragged about her lethal responses to naysayers.
“I feel like when people say ignorant things they deserve an ignorant response,” the television personality said. “However, I like to be entertaining, I don’t wanna be bored. … All the haters are boring and dry, so why not liven it up a little bit, put you in your place and give ’em a little chuckle.”
Kalysha first got her big break on “Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood” in 2014. She would later quit the show due to what she said was her being portrayed in a negative light. She added, “I didn’t like the situations I was being put in. It ended up being a lot of situations that in my real life would never occur.”
The “GUHHATL” star is the ex-girfriend of singer Fetty Wap, whom she shares 3-year-old Kharie Barbie Maxwell with.
