As Jackie Christie prepares to kick off her new venture “The Jackie Christie Project,” she’s getting a lot of love from a few of her “Basketball Wives” co-stars. But some fans feel it’s insincere.
CeCe Gutierrez, Jennifer Williams and Ogom “O.G.” Chijindu were among those hand to give Christie her props after they were among the few who attended Christie’s “ponderosa” on Wednesday night’s episode. It was then that the ladies and a few of Christie’s other pals filmed and recorded the first roundtable of the podcast.
As Christie helmed the phone camera, she went around the room and taped her pals and co-stars who shared their well-wishes on her new show.
“I’m so excited to be at the exclusive ‘Jackie Christie Project.’ Stay tuned,” says O.G. in the footage Jackie shared to her Instagram page Thursday night.
“Jackie, congratulations on your podcast and y’all stay tuned,” says Williams, before adding, “you know I got a lot of s–t to say.”
“I love you, Jackie,” Gutierrez states. “Keep it sexy, girl, as you always do.”
But while Jackie lapped up the fanfare from her friends, viewers of the show deemed it phony.

This is not the first time that Christie has been accused of linking up with some of her co-stars just for show.
Back in July, when the wife of retired NBA player Doug Christie hung out with Gutierrez, O.G., and Williams before, fans remarked that she was with the so-called “rejects” of the show.
