R&B singer Keyshia Cole and her boyfriend Niko “Khale” Hale have been adamant about keeping their newborn baby hidden from paparazzi and social media since the child’s birth.
Cole however posted an image of a baby to her Instagram story Thursday, August 15 which could have easily been mistaken for her newborn. The uploaded picture cropped out the child’s face and showed him from below the neck.
“I have the coolest GiGI Crochet Jordan’s,” Cole wrote. The photo featured a baby donning a denim jacket, blue jeans and crocheted booties while lying next to a giraffe stuffed animal.
However, the gag is that the child shown in singer’s post appeared to be bigger than a 2-week-old.
Cole, 37, and Hale, 23, welcomed their son and first child together Thursday, August 1. The child’s name has yet to be revealed.
The proud mother of two made sure to post a picture of her 10-year-old son Daniel Gibson Jr., whom she shares with estranged husband and former Cleveland Cavaliers player Daniel Gibson, holding his baby brother hours just after she’d given birth. She wrote over the image, “Big brother vibes.”
Cole first announced she was pregnant for a second time in May and confirmed weeks later she was having a son.
A day before their newborn was delivered, Hale wrote via Instagram that he was “nervous” and “excited” about fatherhood.
Viewers will get a chance to follow Cole’s pregnancy journey on her new untitled reality series that’s coming soon to BET. Details, such as the premiere date of her new show, have yet to be released as she remains just days from delivering her baby boy.
