Joseline Hernandez apparently committed a fashion faux pas this week that caused social media users to drag her.
The former “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” actress was photographed posing inside a Sarasota, Florida, home while showing off her distinctive fashion style. She sported a black spandex dress with red thigh-high platform boots. She also accessorized her looks with oversized bangles, a gold watch, drop earrings and a black headwrap, wearing her box braids in a high ponytail.
Hernandez also rocked a dramatic makeup look, including a red smoky eye and brown lipstick. She posed partially in profile at the top of a staircase and wrote via Instagram, “Amor y prosperidad ❤️.”
Fans instantly flooded the star’s post with comments of disapproval.
“She never could dress but she got body tho 🤷”
“This ain’t it 😩 take the headband and boots off. You look like a cheap call girl”
“I seen her look better than that tight dress and wack boots smh”
“She never had style but I still luv her tho 🤦”
Other fans denounced critics and jumped to the 32-year-old mother’s defense.
“It kills me how people want to see side comments like she never had no style. Leave that woman alone she has her own style 🙌🏼”

Hernandez has yet to respond to naysayers. She told Huffington Post during a 2017 interview that she’s often unfazed by the criticism she receives in general and that people are entitled to their own opinions.
“Everybody’s able to say whatever they want, feel however they feel, and it’s not really a big deal to me because if I choose to live my life in front of the media then I need to take what they give,” she said.
In other news, Hernandez and her ex Stevie J. are both scheduled to appear in court Thursday, August 15. The two will hopefully resolve their ongoing custody battle over 2-year-old daughter Bonnie Bella Hernandez. As of now, Stevie currently has temporary custody of the toddler.
