The Miami Herald reporter that police said Miami’s vehicle appeared to have sustained damage from the gunfire.

“It appeared the vehicle had been shot consistent with projectiles,” Detective Lee Cowart told the newspaper.

Miami, who was gifted with the G-Wagon from boyfriend Southside of 808 Mafia in January, was recorded explaining what happened during the incident from her point of view.

“They had they lights off so I never saw them,” she’s heard saying to authorities as police lights flash. “Whoever it was, they had they lights off. I don’t know where they came from … The shots started from behind me. They started from behind because when I got to the stop sign I was like ‘Oh s–t somebody’s shootin’. The first shot hit the f–king spare tire.”

Miami is due to give birth to her second child, and first with Southside, before the end of the year. She went public with her pregnancy in June.

The announcement came several months after Miami showed off the luxury gift her off-and-on beau gave her on Instagram.

“2019 in 2019,” she said in the caption of a photo posing next to the bow-topped six-figure vehicle. “I always wanted a G Wagon. Now I own a G Wagon. No payments, Thanks, baby.”
