Despite rumors of Stevie J. and his wife Faith Evans heading towards splitsville, the pair assured folks they were still together with their endless anniversary photos posted to social media this week.
Not many people thought Stevie J. and Evans would make it through their first year of marriage, with some claiming their relationship was only a publicity stunt, yet here they are. The pair were spotted living their best lives in the Caribbean, which fans thought to be St. Croix, in celebration of their first anniversary together. The pair shared to their social media pages a slew of videos and photos of themselves lounging by the beach together and enjoying a seemingly romantic boat ride.
The couple, who’ve known each for over 20 years since working together during their Bad Boy Entertainment days, both took to Instagram Wednesday, July 17, the actual date of their anniversary, and sent sweet messages to each other.
“Happy anniversary to my best friend, my love, my prayer partner, comedy buddy, recipe taster, handy-man, baseball coach, jack-of-all-trades AMAZING husband,” Evans wrote along with a shirtless beach bod photo of Stevie. “I love you so much & I thank God for you every day!”
In return, the “Hitman” producer shared a video of their most special moments together and wrote, “Mrs Faith Renee Jordan – You’ve given me new eyes, a new perspective about love & I couldn’t imagine life without you, this is forever. I love you #MrsJ#HappyAnniversaryMrsJ#Dajordans.”
In a separate post he continued, “⚜️ Truth is – the one you love is always near, you’ll never know. Just love each friend or loved one wholeheartedly & unconditionally. The universe hand delivered My Angel, supremely honored.”
Fans also chimed in on the love.

During the 2019 Essence Festival earlier this month, the couple was asked by TMZ about their alleged breakup after briefly unfollowing each other on social media. The couple assured TMZ they were still together and Evans said, “You can’t believe everything that you hear.”
The pair shocked the world last year after secretly tying the knot in their Las Vegas, Nevada, hotel room surrounded by a minimum crowd of family and friends. Despite what folks may think, they appear to be happier than ever.
Stevie is currently in the middle of a nasty custody battle with his ex-fiancé Joseline Hernandez over their 2-year-old daughter. He, however, doesn’t appear to be bothered.
