It’s safe to say even Keyshia Ka’Oir, the wife of rapper Gucci Mane, has a hard time understanding her husband’s verbiage due to his apparent country accent.
The “I Heard” rapper, who’s from Bessemer, Alabama, but grew up in Atlanta, is one of the most notable rappers who’ve maintained their Southern accent since the beginning. His wife Ka’Oir playfully teased her husband about his speech when he’s heard talking in the background of her beauty post.
“My husband strong-ass accent in the background!!” the 34-year-old model playfully wrote in an Instagram post on Wednesday. “What is he saying 😩.”
The couple appeared to be backstage at one of Gucci Mane’s recent concerts in Chicago.
Fans took it upon themselves to take a stab at deciphering what the artist was saying.

“He said ‘I seen a dude wit some asassins on a cadilliac bruh’ 😂🤣 aye I speak fluent Bessemer 🤷.”

Just last week, the trap music rapper was spotted in Rome, Italy, playing an “inscrument” shirtless while apparently on vacation with his wife.
The “I Get the Bag” rapper also passed a music milestone last week with his charting album “Delusions Of Grandeur.” He now holds the No. 1 spot for the most top 10 albums on the Billboard Top Rap Albums chart, surpassing rapper and previous record holder Tech N9ne, according to Hot New Hip Hop.
As for Ka’Oir, she couldn’t be more proud of her husband and his success. She noted in a recent post that her priority is to always keep a smile on Gucci’s face. “I have 1 job & its to keep him smiling 🤗,” she wrote July 2 via Instagram.
