After she was spotted filming in front of Bravo cameras, reports have emerged that Kenya Moore is back to being a cast member on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
Former executive producer of the show Carlos King shared a screenshot of a tweet from a reporter excitedly revealing the news.
“Don’t call it a comeback, she’s been twirling for years 💃🏾💃🏾…. can’t wait to watch @thekenyamoore 🥊” King captioned the July 10 post.
The report from People magazine cited sources who divulged that Moore had signed a contract to resume her peach-holding status on the long-running series for season 12.
“It’s going to be a great season,” one source told the publication, while another stated, “Kenya isn’t wasting time reminding everyone why she’s reality TV gold.”
Several fans reacted on King’s post by celebrating the news.
“The Queen of The Housewives! So excited for this!”
“Thank goodness! I couldn’t stand the show without her.”
“👏👏👏, the show was definitely missing her!”
“Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy hopefully we get to see that gorgeous baby Brooklyn more often 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🥰🥰🥰🥰 @thecarlosking_”
“They should’ve never let her go!!! #yasssss #WithASnap.”
It was the last commenter’s response, however, that led to what may be interpreted as a shady response from Moore.
However, it seems the wife and mother is generally pleased with her return. After writing “Yaaaaaasssssss 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽” on King’s post, she took to her own account to share a pic of her holding out a peach in front of a green screen.
“I was hungry so I snatched a 🍑 👸🏾” Moore captioned the image.
Moore first joined “RHOA” during season 5, but her reign on the show came to an end after season 9, just when viewers learned during the reunion that she and husband Marc Daly were expecting.
Months of speculation concerning Moore getting cut from the cast followed. Rumors abounded that producers were upset that Moore eloped to St. Lucia and kept her husband largely off-screen except for a brief appearance toward the end of season 10.
Then, in October 2018, a very-pregnant Moore confirmed she was out on the upcoming season 11.
“I have decided to take this season off to focus on my high-risk pregnancy in a healthy and drama free environment,” Moore said. “I thank Bravo for this amazing platform that has allowed me to grow, flourish and appreciate the value of what is truly important in life.”
However, Moore has been seen in front of Bravo cameras over the last several months as it remains to be seen just how much of her life with Daly and daughter Brooklyn Doris Daly she’s willing to share.
