“Love and Hip Hop: New York” star Alexis Skyy can’t seem to catch a break without social media coming for her parenting efforts.
The 24-year-old reality star uploaded an Instagram video of her and 1-year-old daughter Alaiya Grace seemingly relaxing by the poolside for Independence Day. Skyy rocked a white bikini with a sun hat, while the toddler appeared to be in a Burberry swimsuit.
In the video, the “LHHNY” star began sexily posing in front of her camera phone with her daughter sleeping right next to her. Several fans felt the mother of one’s behavior was completely inappropriate and dragged her to pieces.
“Girl you over here doing extra why your baby sleep 🙄.”
“Is the baby okay? 😬 the baby turned on the side while you showing out on the ‘Gram.”
Before anymore negative opining about her mothering skills could roll in, Skyy turned off her comments, disabling fan comments.
She’s addressed these sort of mom-bashing comments earlier this year after she was accused of neglecting her daughter after the child underwent brain surgery. Baby Alaiya was rushed to the hospital after having to repair a malfunctioning shunt in her brain.
Less than a week after her daughter’s surgery, the mother of one was seen on her way to make an appearance at a nightclub. A non-fan slammed her for doing so and labeled her a “bad mom.”
Skyy hit back at the critic, writing, “No bi–h actually I’m on my way to work to provide for my child. … I have a great support system my daughter is good when I’m not working I’m with her.”
She added, “Obviously if she was still in hospital I wouldn’t be out working, mind your business sis.”
