‘LHHATL’ Star Bambi Strikes Back at Fans Defending Erica Dixon In Co-Parenting Battle: ‘I Don’t Care’

It looks like “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” stars Bambi Benson and Erica Dixon won’t be in communication with each other anytime soon.

The co-stars apparently don’t have bad blood with each other, but Benson doesn’t seem to feel the need to communicate with Dixon. Dixon and Benson’s husband, rapper Lil Scrappy, share 14-year-old daughter Emani Richardson together. However, during this week’s episode of “LHHATL,” both Benson and Scrappy admitted they don’t have a personal relationship with the mother of three.

The couple expressed that not conversing with Dixon seemingly cut out all drama from their lives, but the Atlanta rapper’s mother Momma Dee thinks they’re going about the situation wrong. Dixon, Scrappy’s ex-fiancé, said she wasn’t opposed to talking with the pair, but only if they were up to doing so.

Social media, of course, slammed Bambi and Scrappy for seemingly refusing to cooperate with co-parenting Emani with Dixon.

“Scrappy is a grown ass man. Why can’t he speak to his first baby mother about his child he has with her. What he goes through with his baby mother don’t have anything to do with you smh 🙄.”

After receiving backlash, Benson finally shot back at “LHHATL” viewers, claiming she and Scrappy agreed to have a conversation with Dixon without cameras around, but the mother of three apparently refused to do so.

“I don’t care what none of y’all spectators think,” Benson tweeted Monday. “I’m not doing anything for a storyline. If Erica wanted to have a real conversation she would have accepted our offer to do that before filming started.”

She then added that she and the “Crime Mob” rapper decided not to film with Dixon for the sake 14-year-old Richardson.

“We decided not to film with anyone who could potentially put us in a position to embarrass Emani,” she wrote. “At the end of the day it’s about her. … Nobody wants to see their parents on tv arguing … so WE said no! End of story.”

Dixon has yet to respond to Benson’s comments, but social media viewers, on the other hand, had mixed reactions to Benson’s viewpoint.

“Erica isn’t the problem. You is the problem. 🙄 You is holding Scrappy back from speaking to Erica. Erica is his first mother of his child. At least they can have a conversation. You knew about Erica before you got with Scrappy. It’s like Erica was a military secret.”

“You guys made the right decision, because the kids get hurt in the end. Bravo to you and Scrappy! Real adults 💯!!!”

Dixon, Benson and Scrappy seemingly came to some sort of co-parenting agreement for 14-year-old Richardson’s birthday party in March. However, they didn’t take any photos together and were seen sitting on the opposite sides of the room.
