The 34-year-old mother of one and her baby girl apparently stepped out in style this past weekend for the 2019 BET Awards show in Los Angeles. The mommy-and-daughter duo sported pink lily print poplin dresses designed by Dolce & Gabbana.
Love paired her ensemble with a pair of pink, diamond-studded heels and dressed baby Melody in a pair of white Nike sneakers. Seemingly basking in joy, the new mother squatted down to her toddler’s height and held her hand as they both smiled big for the camera.
The “LHHH” actress captioned the photo of herself and her toddler with a flower emoji as fans flooded her Instagram post with adoring comments.
“Yall giving me Baby Fever! 👼🏼🤱🏻 awwwww 🤰🏾. This baby is toooo cute .. she is such a living doll ❤️ adorable and precious little Mel ❤️.”
“Oh my goooooooodness! 💕😍 my ovaries Jesus! 😩 loving her dress with her shoes priceless.”
“You Two are beautiful mother and daughter ❤️ omgggggg so beautiful 😭.”
“Omg I can’t with this whole photo, 🔥 so beautiful!!!!!💯😍 my goodness she got big. So Beautiful.”
Princess and her husband, “One Wish” singer Ray J. Norwood, welcomed baby Melody Love into the world on May 22, 2018, and apparently wouldn’t mind expanding their family even more.
The couple are both first-time parents. Ray J. told US Weekly at the Kids’ Choice Awards in March that he’s looking forward to having at least “one more” child with his wife. He explained that he wanted their daughter to experience what it’s like to having a sibling, referencing his close relationship with his sister, R&B singer Brandy.
“I’m trying to get one in, and hopefully we can have another by April, if it happens,” the former child actor said. “They could be friends and protect each other, like my sister and myself. … Two [kids] is good.”
Love described motherhood as one of “the best feelings ever” that “nobody can prepare you for.”
