It looks like things didn’t quite work out between “Love and Hip Hop: New York” stars Cyn Santana and Joe Budden.
As a matter of fact, it seems the pair have been throwing subtle jabs at each other on social media, which fans just happen to be paying attention to. Santana appears to be the last one in their apparent shade-throwing battle, seemingly insinuating that it was she who decided to walk away from their relationship.
She took to her Instagram Wednesday and uploaded a video of herself swimming topless on a float, apparently at her home. In her caption she mentioned when given an ultimatum to either change her behavior or leave in a situation, she was leaving.
“Change your attitude or leave,” she captioned the post. “ME: …”
Fans seem to think her post was referring to her recent apparent breakup with Budden.
“Opps the shade is real I just love herrrrr 🤣🔥😍.”
“Joe you felt this one huh 😂😩. I be moving this slow too but I’d still be like ✌️.”
“Damn @joebudden really messed up this time she ain’t comin back buddy. It was a slow leave, but a leave nonetheless 🤣.”

Earlier last month, it was reported that Santana and Budden called off their engagement after rumors of infidelity surrounded the rapper. Seemingly confirming the hearsay, Santana deleted all traces of the “Pump It Up” rapper from her social media.
Some folks believe the pair faked their breakup for the upcoming season of “LHHNY.” According to All Hip Hop, Budden went on Instagram Live a week ago and praised the show’s executive Mona Scott-Young for being a “genius” although it’s unclear as to what he was making reference to.
“Y’all know Mona’s a genius… don’t sleep,” he said before insinuating that he may get in trouble for his statement and logging off. Many fans took it as Scott being the mastermind behind his and Santana’s supposed split.
“I knew that from the beginning. The report he was cheating and the girl who he was supposedly cheating with was at the beach with her BF gave me that this is a scam for that show vibe 🤔.”
They’re currently co-parenting and share 1-year-old son Lexington Budden together.
