Ciara has made it clear she’s not working on growing her brood with husband Russell Wilson any time soon, but that hasn’t deterred fans from thinking there’s a bun in the oven.
A new video the singer shared to Instagram June 26 saw her parading around backstage with YouTube sensation Todrick Hall. Ciara ultimately hits a death drop before Hall gives her a round of applause.
“Backstage Shenanigans @todrick 🤣. #Pride,” Ciara captioned the black-and-white video. Ciara and Hall joined Whoopi Goldberg and Cyndi Lauper at the World Pride Opening Ceremony at Barclays Center in Brooklyn Wednesday.
But while the clip was entertaining, fans swiftly turned their attention to Ciara’s body. They questioned if she was expecting a baby, since her belly appeared to have a bump.
“Wait is Ciara pregnant again?”
“Awwwww is that a baby bump?”
“I see a little bump in the stump. We don’t miss nothing because we watch our fans from head to toe.😘🤷🏽♀️🥰”
“Ummmmmm @ciara is that a bump or am I just tripping…tripping 👀💗”
“I bet I seen a lil baby bump 🥰🥰”
However, other fans felt there was no bun in the oven. Instead, they pointed to other reasons why Ciara’s belly seemed to poke out.
“I have diastisis recti and sometimes can look like I have baby bump because the muscles in abdomen are separated. It’s just not nice that we are contracting discussing whether or not she’s preggo. Maybe she just has this as well. She finnnnnneeeee and fit and gorgeous either way!!”
“She could’ve just ate geesh., why every little tiny pudge gotta be a baby lol.”
“That’s post menstrual bloat… leave sis alone 😩”
“She ain’t pregnant. Nothing wrong with having chicken wings.”
While Ciara isn’t likely pregnant now, she has stated that she desires to give son Future Zahir, 5, and daughter Sienna Princess, 2, a younger brother or sister — after she gets off the road.
“It’d be really cool to do tours with stadiums. And there’s a lot of business goals that I want to accomplish … hopefully, there will be more kids, for sure,” she told Wonderland magazine in December 2018. “Well, you know, I got time! I’m a woman of ambition on a mission, so when the timing is right, of course!”
Currently, the singer is focused on her career. She’s been doing performances at various festivals before she hits the road in support of her newest album, “Beauty Marks,” in September.
