Teyana Taylor On How She Maintains Her Tight Abs: ‘I Don’t Eat Vegetables’

There are probably some who are still thinking about Teyana Taylor‘s washboard abs in Kanye West‘s video for his song “Fade.”

Since then, and even before that, Taylor has been credited for being in ridiculous shape, and one might think she follows a strict diet of leafy greens and other veggies, but that’s not the case at all.

The “Rose in Harlem” singer recently spoke to Us Weekly about her eating habits, and she revealed they are not what people might guess they are. Taylor also talked about how she’s still able to stay so fit.

“I don’t even eat vegetables,” she admitted. “On my own, I have a dance fitness program called fade2fit.com, so that’s the only workout I do. You can watch it and take it home, it’s all good.”

Taylor also talked about giving birth to her daughter Iman Shumpert Jr. in 2015 and explained how she was able to keep her figure afterward. Basically, the singer barely took time off and had a very short time of inactivity.

“The only real workout I do is dancing and performing,” she explained. “I was touring right up until after I was six months pregnant, and I was in really good shape. So after she came I just went right back down, almost immediately. That’s the way I do it. I love to dance.”

And when it comes to the outfits Taylor feels sexiest in, it isn’t anything tight, short or revealing. In fact, she likes to wear just the opposite.

“Honestly, I feel sexiest when I’m in tomboy mode, my baggy clothes,” she revealed.

Meanwhile, on Monday, the New York songbird celebrated the one-year anniversary of her sophomore LP “K.T.S.E.” being released, which came out June 23, 2018.
