It seems “Love and Hip Hop” couple Safaree Samuels and Erica Mena may be ready for their own spin-off show.
The couple started their own YouTube channel titled “She’s Crazy I’m Not” in late February and now they’re seemingly ready to take things to the next level. They recently appeared on the set of VH1’s game show “Hip Hop Squares” to film for its upcoming season and posted a behind the scenes clip of them about to head on set.
The clip shared to Samuels Instagram page, showed him walking out of his dressing room to Mena’s in somewhat color-coordinated attire matching hers. The pair seemed extra flirty and touchy as they apparently made their way on set.
“We get dressed separately and still end up matching 😝,” the New York rapper wrote. “I still need my own dressing room cuz i like to be surprised when i see her after she picks her outfit 😂 money Can’t buy this Glow up.”
He then asked his fans if they were ready to see he and his fiancée make their way back to television with their own reality series.
“Aye quick question when we getting our own show? Tv looking pretty boring 🤷🏾♂️,” he wrote.
Fans clearly weren’t here Samuels suggestion.
“Show??!!!! How about no!”
“Y’alll just not that important for people to wanna watch 🤷.”
“No more reality shows. Way too many of them already. Start a business or something.”
“Own show, why? 🤷 No thanks we not here for the show.”
The “LHHNY” actor clapped back at fans, “Blockt das why butch.”
In a separate post, Samuels hinted again to having their own spin-off series, writing, “We’re TV Gold… A blind man could see that.”
In other news, Samuels and Mena are currently in the middle of making wedding arrangements. The mother of one recently affirmed to fans that she and Samuels would be walking down the aisle extremely soon, although she didn’t specify a date.
The couple got engaged in December after the New York rapper proposed to Mena on Christmas Eve with friends and family around. They also revealed they were trying for a baby.
