“Love and Hip Hop: New York” star Safaree Samuels is getting flak for his off-color humor.
The television personality is pretty well known for his hilarious jokes and crude sense of humor, but not everybody thinks he’s funny. For example, Samuels made a comment about masturbation under his fiancée Erica Mena‘s post, and it was immediately slapped down by fans.
The 31-year-old female model took to her Instagram page Tuesday evening and posted a photo of herself sporting a transparent green and leopard print bodysuit with matching pants. She held the front of her pants cover down and showed off a portion of her bikini line.
“Ain’t nobody 🤑 like me …………..,” Mena wrote in her caption.
Samuels, clearly enamored with his soon-to-be wife’s photo, commented underneath it, “I wonder how many ppl jerk to you a day … 🤔🤔 pls respond if you do.”
Mena, who seemed to cringingly laugh off her fiancé’s remark, responded, “😂 see you for dinner baby.”
Prim fans were clearly weirded out by Samuels’ comment and slammed him for being “disrespectful.”
“What kind of man say this smh 🤦 this is creepy.”
“As her fiancé that was a pretty disrespectful comment 🤷.”
“Ur a clown @safaree you actually need to stop like who post this smh that was disrespectful.”
“That joke didn’t come off as well as you thought friend. This wasn’t really a good thing to comment to your wife to be 🤔.”
When Samuels isn’t being a funnyman or awkward, he and Mena are busy making wedding arrangements. The mother of one recently affirmed to fans that she and Samuels would be walking down the aisle extremely soon, although she didn’t specify a date.
The couple got engaged in December after the New York rapper proposed to Mena on Christmas Eve with friends and family around. They also revealed they were trying for a baby.
Mena says one thing she loves about Samuels is his playful character.
“He makes everyone laugh,” she told People magazine in February. “He loves to joke around and dance.”
