‘You Wanna be Pregnant’: Reginae Carter Ignites a Firestorm After Posting Fake Baby Bump

T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle” celeb Reginae Carter is causing quite an uproar on social media.

The 20-year-old reality star had a little fun on her Instagram this weekend and shared a video of herself with a bulging belly, which incited mass reaction from her followers.

The clip Carter posted showed her playing her very pregnant “Pride and Prejudice: Atlanta” character Lydia Bennet. She’s spotted rubbing and dancing with her fake baby bump before heading on the set of the Lifetime film to work.

“A little trailer fun before going on set !” the young actress wrote. “Playing Lydia was pretty fun !! What did you guys think about the movie ? What was your fave part ? Tell me all the tea ☕️ #prideandprejudiceatlanta #lifetimemovies #lydia.”

Some in social media, however, didn’t get any chuckles out of her video.

“Why would u do that that was dumb 🤷🏾‍.”

“You having too much fun playing pregnant. Girl you wanna be pregnant so bad 🙄.”

“Lol she wanna have lucci baby so badddddd 😂.”

“She definitely sent this to lucchi while filming.. the reason behind his Twitter posts! You wanna be pregnant fr sis.”

Several people referred to early rumors of the reality star being pregnant after her on-again, off-again rapper boyfriend YFN Lucci made some alarming remarks in March.

“And you think I’ma just let you leave me girl? We stuck together,” he wrote in a comment underneath a photo of hers, causing pregnancy speculation.

Nevertheless, other folks denounced critics for coming at Carter’s post, saying she was only having fun with her character.

“Shes just having fun with the character she played if she really wanted to be pregnant🤰 she would of been let lucci give her one🙃🤔#mindyourbusiness.”

“Do ya thang nae and if u was pregnant folks need to just shut up real talk..💕.”

In more recent news, the television personality landed a mass of praise for her role in Lifetime’s “Pride and Prejudice: Atlanta,” which premiered on June 1.

The film, a modern spin on the 19th-century British novel “Pride and Prejudice” by Jane Austen, centers on family, love and marriage. Carter plays alongside Hollywood veterans like Jackée Harry, Keshia Knight-Pulliam, Victoria Rowell, and Reginald Vel Johnson.

In late November, Carter announced via Instagram she’d be playing the character Lydia in the movie and described her excitement as “indescribable.”

“I just wanna cry !!” she wrote last week along with a clip of the film’s teaser. “Mama and daddy , I made it !! Everybody make sure you guys watch #prideandprejudiceatlanta on @lifetimetv June 1st 🤗.”
