‘It’s Common Courtesy!’: Fans Drag Gucci Mane for Not Tipping Casino Cashier After Racking Up Thousands

Gucci Mane came under fire this weekend after apparently displaying discourteous behavior.

A social media debate broke out Sunday morning about whether or not people should tip their casino cashiers after cashing out their chips. This conversation came about after the “So Icey” rapper went viral for apparently not tipping his cashier.

Gucci was in Las Vegas, Nevada, this past weekend at the Drais Nightclub and Cromwell Hotel & Casino, and he apparently racked up a few bands before leaving. According to an Instagram video he posted to his page, he won $280,000 dollars after a lucky night of gambling.

“280 k I won meet me at Drais! I ❤ Vegas,” he wrote on his clip, adding in his caption, “Money so Clean it make Me wanna Sing 🎶🎶🤑😩💰.”

In the video, the casino cashier at the cash cage hands Gucci several stacks of cash after he exchanged his chips. He shook the employee’s hand and thanked her for her hospitality but apparently forgot to break her off a piece of his earnings. This incited outrage.

“@laflare1017 You aint even tip the lady who counted it out bro smh that’s f–ked up.”

“What about the lady 🤔. No tip?”

“Damn.. I thought he’d of hooked that lady up. Poor Ms Jodi.”

“He shoulda tip it’s common courtesy! smh @laflare1017 you wack af for that 🤦🏼‍.”

Among those bashing the “I Get the Bag” artist, there were those defending him, saying he wasn’t obligated to do anything.

“Tip her for what 🤔🤦🏽‍♀️ counting out yo money 💰…. foh he aint have to do nothin.”

“Lol she didnt anything for a tip plus he ain’t obligated to.”

“Why is everyone talking about tipping that lady she just gave him the money he won it’s not like she waited on him or anything 🤦🏾‍♂️.”

When it comes to flaunting his wealth and backlash, Gucci is no stranger. As a matter of fact, he recently found himself in the middle of beef with rap group Migos.

He blasted two members of the group, Takeoff and Quavo for having fake chains and seemingly credited himself for buying them their first real bling. He wrote, “@quavohuncho @yrntakeoff both threw away the fake chains they had on cuz I gave them them both the 2chains off my neck.”

“same day @offsetyrn called from jail and told me send racks to his lawyer to get him out and I did that the same day off our first conversation #NoCap💰💰💰#IGETTHEBAG #1017GlacierGang,” he also detailed.

The post didn’t sit well with Offset who responded, “Das Cap U Kno Dat… But I’m So Blessed We Gon Leave It @ Dat… Thank You.”

Gucci of course got the last word and replied back, “Boi U cap, U ain’t forget,” while adding a money bag emoji towards the end.

It seems Gucci is all about the bag, and some say he isn’t looking to share.
