Critics Derail Alexis Skyy’s Sexy IG Post with Nasty Comments About Her Toes: ‘They Throwing Up Gang Signs’

Reality star Alexis Skyy put her curves on full display in a photo posted to Instagram this week, but it was her feet that stole the show.

The “Love and Hip-Hop: New York” star posed for a sultry photo in a barely- there lime green dress, replete with a high split up the back. Skyy’s breasts were also out front and center, thanks to the dress’ plunging V-neckline.

“ATM,” she captioned the photo of her posted up beside an ATM machine. “Dress by @fashionnova. Hair @imaslayyobae. Make up @niamulan.”

Fans fawned over the summertime look, but others couldn’t help but turn their attention on the singer’s toes, which peeked out from inside her pair of strappy, nude heels.

“lol … bruh they throwing up gang signs lol,” one fan wrote.

“I had to go zoom in 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂,” another chimed in.

One critic argued that Skyy and Grammy-winning singer Ciara had “man toes.”

“Ciara got Man toes periodt,” another added.

It wasn’t long before Skyy’s loyal fans came rushing to her defense, pointing out that no one — including celebrities — is perfect.

“Who needs perfect toes when your that stunning🤩,” one fan wrote before adding “#stopthehate’n🙄”

“Everybody have flaws,” said another. “Get over it!!”

This isn’t the first time Skyy’s feet have been a point of contention among her fans. Last week, the TV personality shared a photo of herself lounging around the house in a pair of sneakers, a practice some thought was a bit taboo.

One user asked “Who just walks around the house w sneakers 🤷🏾,” while another ordered Skyy to “take those shoes off in the house.”

While some were ready to give her the boot over the whole sneakers fiasco, others were too busy drooling over Skyy’s alluring photos, which she often posts on social media. The reality star and new mom set the Internet on fire earlier this month with a snapshot showing off her rump in a skin-tight, little black dress.

When she isn’t busy posing for the Gram, however, Skyy is busy being a mother to her 1-year-old daughter Alaiya Grace, who she shares with famous rapper Fetty Wap.

Democracy needs journalism it can trust.

This election season, the stakes are higher than usual — and so is the pressure on newsrooms to soften their coverage, stay quiet, or just disappear. Independent reporting, the kind that answers to readers instead of advertisers or political pressure, matters more in a moment like this, not less.

For over 14 years, Atlanta Black Star has stayed independent and reader-funded. We have no corporate owner and no shareholders telling us what to cover or how to cover it. That independence is also our biggest vulnerability: nothing protects it except readers choosing to fund it directly.

Newspaper ad revenue has fallen more than 80% since 2005, and local newsrooms are closing at a rate of roughly two a week nationwide. When outlets go under in a moment like this, it's rarely the independent, reader-funded ones that get to stick around.

We know a request for support isn't why you came here. But without readers choosing to fund this work directly, the depth of reporting we can do at home and abroad shrinks along with everyone else's. If you're not in a position to give, that doesn't change how much we value you as a reader.

If you are able to, a recurring contribution does more for us than a single one-time gift, because it lets us plan the next investigation instead of just the next invoice. It takes about 30 seconds, no long form, no account. Thank you for continuing to support independent journalism and freedom of the press.
