The grand opening of the third location of Nene Leakes‘ boutique was held this weekend near Washington, D.C. As happy as fans were for “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star, they also couldn’t help but crack up at Gregg Leakes sitting next to the entrance.
Nene cut the ribbon on Swagg Boutique at MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Maryland, Saturday, May 18. The opening of the shop reportedly makes her the first Black woman to own a store in the hotel.
Thrilled about the newest Swagg shop, Nene shared a video of the store, giving fans a glimpse of what they can see when they come by.
But one thing that won’t always be there is Gregg, whose wife pointed out that he was right by the door as if he were a bouncer.
“Take a sneak peek inside of the brand new Swagg Boutique at MGM @mgmnationalharbor While Gregg sits at the door like security 🤣 i can’t!” Nene captioned the footage. “I design, decorated and picked everything inside! It’s absolutely beautiful! Thank you to everyone that stood in line patiently to shop with us! We love youuuuuuuu🗣 #swagg3 (i took this video so forgive me, i am not the best at this).”
Several fans raved about the look of the shop, which follows the 2017 opening of Swagg Boutique in the Atlanta suburb of Duluth and a Miami location opening its doors to patrons last summer.

But others couldn’t help but remark at Gregg, who recently disclosed he is cancer-free. The on-the-mend “RHOA” star had fans cracking up at his post by the door.

Gregg being spotted alongside his wife at Saturday’s ribbon-cutting ceremony marks the first time in a while that the husband and wife have been seen together. Nene partied it up earlier this month at the Kentucky Derby and more than a week ago she received an honor from the Associates for Breast and Prostate Cancer Studies in recognition of her looking after Gregg amid his cancer battle. During both events, fans observed that Gregg was markedly absent.
