‘That Divorce Is Doing Wonders’: Wendy Williams is ‘Dippin’ n Doin it’ in Leopard Print and Fans Go Wild

Wendy Williams has fans in a delighted frenzy over her newest look.

The talk show host uploaded a photo to her official Instagram page Saturday and unveiled her outfit for L’hommage, a benefit honoring the pioneers and stars of ballroom or drag ball culture. It is an underground culture that emerged in the Black LGBTQ community that creates a safe space for expression for non-white members of the community, according to The Cut.

“Dippin n doin it in support of the LGBTQ community at L’HOMMAGE presented by Fierce (@fiercenyc),” Williams captioned the post.

The star, who filed to divorce her longtime husband Kevin Hunter last month, was clad in a black trench coat and matching boots. She wore an off-the-shoulder leopard print dress with a split down the front and oversized sunglasses. The look came together courtesy of stylist Willie Sinclair III.

Williams’ ‘fit left fans fawning over her fierce look and crediting the impending divorce for her new fashion sense.

“That divorce is doing wonders 😘💯”

“This is what divorce looks like.”

“Releasing what no longer serves one brings out a newness that gives birth to a whole new self! Serve Queen! 🙌🏾❤”

“So Dippin n doing girl live life to it fullest we live once so carry on. Im so proud of who u r u better workkkkkkkkk!”

“Yassss! This is what single sexy and free looks like!!”

The praise followed Williams taking jabs at her estranged husband on
“The Wendy Williams Show” last week, when she discussed Ayesha Curry‘s issues with groupies.

“There are a lot of women with no respect for a marriage,” Williams said Thursday. “A lot of women who know your man is married and will have the nerve to be right up under him right under your nose. … For you lonely girls who can’t keep your hands off other people’s men, there’s a hot place in hell for you.”

Meanwhile, on Friday’s episode of her talker, Williams revealed how she wound up getting an invite to L’hommage. The host said she got a call from TV personality and fashion critic Bevy Smith on behalf of fashion journalist and former Vogue editor-at-large André Leon Talley to attend the ball.

“So I say to them, ‘I would love to go but I’m reading a book and I’ve got my food here,'” she explained. “Just text me the date. By the way, can I bring company?'”

Williams planned on bringing along her glam squad.
