First Wendy Williams‘ estranged husband Kevin Hunter requested spousal support in his divorce from the talk show host, and now he wants her to pay his legal fees.
The Blast reports that Hunter responded to Williams’ divorce petition, agreed the marriage was over and chose not to contest it. But he wants an even split of the assets they accumulated during the marriage, in addition to wanting Williams to foot the bill for his attorneys.
The former radio host served Hunter with divorce papers in early April after years of rumors that he was unfaithful. Hunter has also been accused of fathering the child of Sharina Hudson, a woman who’s been called his mistress for a decade.
On Thursday, Williams slammed the women who know a man is married but still approach him anyway. She was talking about Ayesha Curry at the time, who said groupies constantly throw themselves at her husband Steph Curry, which drives her crazy.
Williams didn’t mention Hudson’s name when she spoke, but it seemed that she was shooting her words directly at him.
“There are a lot of women with no respect for a marriage,” said the 54-year-old on “The Wendy Williams Show.” “A lot of women who know your man is married and will have the nerve to be right up under him right under your nose. … For you lonely girls who can’t keep your hands off other people’s men, there’s a hot place in hell for you.”
But Williams also said some men are to blame as well.
“In all cases I feel that a woman is only going to do that if that man let’s her,” she explained. “Most of the time, if a woman’s doing something like that she has nothing to lose. If she’s doing that to a married man with a family he’s got everything to lose.”
Besides spousal support and wanting his estranged wife to pay his legal fees, Hunter also wants Williams to handle their son Kevin Jr.’s college tuition.
