A curious clip “Basketball Wives” star Jackie Christie uploaded to her Instagram page recently has viewers of the show speculating that she hasn’t actually walked away from the gig.
On May 2, Christie posted a super-short clip of her riding in a vehicle, apparently en route to co-star Jennifer Williams’ sip and shop for Classy Girl Wardrobe.
“Hey, Jennifer,” Christie says in the Thursday video. “I’m coming to your party, girl.”
She also added in the caption “♠️Tonight….💕🎥,” which indicated she’d be in front of VH1 cameras.
While the event took place Wednesday, it would seem as if Christie uploaded the video the day after she attended the celebration for Williams’ first physical location for her clothing line. The event, which also served to honor Williams’ late mother, was also attended by “Basketball Wives” co-stars Malaysia Pargo and Evelyn Lozada.
Regardless of the timing of the upload, the caption of which indicated filming would continue the night after Williams’ showing, fans took it as reason enough to believe Doug Christie’s wife did not quit the reality series as previously thought.

Further, a “Basketball Wives” fan Instagram account fanned the flames by writing in part in a caption, “CHILE! Can’t spill all this tea just TUNE IN FOR THIS season🤸♀️🤫🤸♀️🤸♀️🤸♀️#BasketBallWives #RealityTv #BBWLA.”
Just weeks earlier, Jackie seemed to announce she was bowing out of “Basketball Wives” as season 8 continued to film.
“I got into it at the skating rink,” Christie said in a video taken around the time her co-stars attended a ’90s-themed costume party. “[A lot of people] want me gone. Are you guys gonna continue to watch the show? … If you do, have fun.”
Then, she added in the caption, “Awe it’s been fun bbw8 saying bye to all the girls 1by1 😍😂 y’all continue to support them.”
Speculation emergedat the time that Jackie may have ditched the show after she apparently got into a tussle with a mystery cast member, as evidenced by her “I got into it” remark.
Still, there is further indication that Christie has continued to tape the show. On May 1, the star shared footage of herself at an early morning filming session where she was getting glammed up and heading to set.
