“T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle” actress Reginae Carter was put on blast for apparently being somewhere she had no business being.
She was spotted hanging out at what seemed to be an Atlanta apartment complex that fans looked at as “the ‘hood.” Carter posted an Instagram photo of herself on Thursday morning posing in front of a building other than her own home or her mother’s.
She wrote in her caption “Are you down for the cause? 💋”
The 20-year-old’s mother, Toya Wright, apparently didn’t recognize her daughter’s surroundings and posted in her comments “Where you at child??? 👀.”
Other fans also noticed the background of Carter’s photo, teasing her about her locale.
“She in da trap ma @toyawright 😂 I was thinking same thing lookn at the background she in the hood with Lucci.”
“@toyawright she’s in the trenches 😂 Toya see Regina in some “regular” ppl apartments & worried af lol.”
“Why you wanna be in the hood so bad suh? lol.”
“Sis at da partments😍😂👏🏿 somewhere in the hood with lucci and the rest of the yfn gang 🤦🏽♀️.”
“I’m soooo damn weakkkk cause where tf sis she at fr 😂 that background threw me off !!! why she in da hood lmao.”
Others told folks to mind their business.
“Mind the business that pays you! People talking bout she in the hood them apartments look clean as hell🤦🏽♂️‼️ .”
“Half y’all don’t even fu–in know where she at..get a fucking life and stay out people business so much 😂.”
Carter’s post comes after an explosive episode of “Family and Friend Hustle” aired this week between her and Wright, who’s clearly not a fan of her daughter’s boyfriend YFN Lucci.
The mother of two confronted Carter about her and Lucci’s recent social media squabble where the rapper told Carter she was “stuck” with him. Wright apparently took it as a sign of possessiveness, cautioning her daughter to look out for red flags.
But Carter defended her boyfriend and insisted his remarks weren’t serious.
Viewers, however, urged the celeb to take her mother’s advice.
“Toya is right! 👏🏾👏🏾Yeah, Reginae is young, but sometimes there’s advice that you just CANT ignore, because IRL, this kind of words normally come out of abusive mouth.”
“Listen to ya mama girl! Don’t act like I’m your property or that I can’t leave if I want to. That makes me think you’d kill me or stalk me or something Mama knows best 💯.”
