The public love fest between enemies-turned-friends Kenya Moore and Porsha Williams continues. After the two hugged and did the limbo on the season finale of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Moore showed her support for Williams before the premiere episode of her spinoff special Sunday night.
Getting in on promoting “Porsha’s Having a Baby,” Moore shared the trailer for the three-part special on her Instagram account April 28.
“Nothing is more important than being a mom. I’m So happy for @porsha4real. Watch her baby special tonight only on @bravotv #porshashavingababy #porsha4real,” Moore wrote in the caption of the promo.
In response to the post, Williams commented, “Thank you chica!!! Much love 💋💋”
The exchange had fans applauding the love the former co-stars and new moms shared with one another.
“Yassss I’m so proud of y’all and how far you both have come. We love when QUEENS support other queens❤️”
“I always knew you two would become closer then you were I’m happy for you both.”
“I just love the LOVE you too have for one another!!! It makes my heart smile!!!”
“Yes sister supporting sisters , that doesn’t mean my shine is taking away nice one Kenya and yes we will watch.”
“It warms my heart and gives me hope to see how far you two ladies have come….Motherhood agrees with you❤❤❤”
The duo has been on remarkably good terms since the season 6 reunion of “RHOA” which saw Williams get so fed up with Moore’s badgering that she grabbed Moore by the hair and dragged her off the couch and across the floor. The former Miss USA winner wound up pressing charges against Williams, who was demoted from holding a peach to becoming a friend of the show for season 7.
However, becoming mothers has seemed to be a driving force in their new relationship. Moore invited Williams to her baby shower last year, and Williams returned the favor; each woman showed up to both events.
Speaking about their relationship on “Watch What Happens Live” after her special aired Sunday, Williams also dished that she’s gotten parenting tips from Moore.
The turn comes more than a year after Moore explained on her Bravo blog that she hoped she and Williams could come to have a genuine friendship.
“I’m really hoping that Porsha and I can work on a real friendship and move on from the hurtful lies and our contemptuous past,” she said.
