Teairra Mari showed that she won’t let 50 Cent keep her from promoting the single “I Ain’t Got It,” which has become Mari’s catchphrase in her beef with the rapper.
In January of this year, a judge threw out the singer’s lawsuit against 50, after he posted a sexually explicit photo of her. Mari then had to pay Fif’s legal fees of $30,618, and every time he demanded it she hit him with the catchphrase.
It’s something she wrote in hashtags, put on a shirt and again, released a song around. And at one point, 50 claimed that he trademarked the phrase and threatened to take Mari to court if she uttered it again.
“Somebody forgot to trademark this, so I’ll just take it you little C-m,” he wrote on April 11. “Look, if she don’t take hers down, I’m gonna sue her.”
But Mari said she already took steps to secure ownership of the phrase and outsmarted 50. But once you enter wwww.iaintgotit.com, it goes directly to a site that shows the rapper’s G-Unit clothing.
Still, on Thursday, the “Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood” star took to Instagram, played the song and posed for the camera in a pair of big sunglasses. “Eat it b-tches,” said Mari in the clip, as she chuckled.
The Detroit born artist also began following 50’s ex-girlfriend, actress Vivica A. Fox, and she let it be known by circling the actual follow so 50 wouldn’t miss it.
Folks were clearly entertained by the singer’s post, and they gave her props for not backing down.
“keep that foot on his neck tt ✍🏽” one of her followers wrote.
“Not following Vivica Fox 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 #petty,” wrote another.
“This song hot too 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 I aint got it either T lol 😂” stated someone else.
