50 Cent walked away the victor against Teairra Mari in a case involving revenge porn.
In May of 2018, Mari sued 50 and Akbar Abdul-Ahad, her ex-boyfriend, and claimed they conspired to ruin her reputation. She claimed they intimidated her with threats as well.
According to Mari, Akbar went into her Instagram account without permission and posted a video that showed the reality star with supposed ejaculate on her face.
Mari eventually removed the post and said Akbar did it because he wanted to be in a polyamorous relationship and join a reality show about that lifestyle — something she didn’t want to do.
She said 50 posted the video on his page after that and included the hashtag “Get the Strap,” which was a message to his fans to harm her.
But The Blast reports that not only were all of those allegations dismissed by a Los Angeles judge, the “Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood” star was ordered to pay $30,618 in 50’s legal costs.
The rapper didn’t receive the full $161,660.15 that he requested, however, so the overall decision could be considered just a partial victory.
Before the judge’s decision came down, 50 denied wrongdoing and said the photo and video were already all over the Internet. The rapper also stated that nudity wasn’t involved, nor a sex act and he wanted the case thrown out entirely.
Neither 50 or Mari have responded to the judge’s decision yet, but people took to Mari’s page and mocked her.
“Sis, you got that 30K?” someone wrote. “Asking for a friend.”
“Pay 50 his money,” wrote another.
