Keyshia Ka’Oir‘s recent throwback post with her husband Gucci Mane spiraled out of control over the weekend after fans said she was jinxed for setting her purse on the floor.
There’s an old superstition that claims it’s bad luck to set your bag or purse on the ground, saying it can bring years of bad luck to individuals’ finances. Across many cultures there is the belief that laying something on the floor is a sign of “disrespect” for that object. Apparently, fans believe the superstition is true and chided Ka’Oir for not abiding by the rules.
The serial entrepreneur took to Instagram on Saturday with an old picture of herself and Gucci Mane attending an Atlanta Hawks game in February. The pair were photographed together sitting on the sideline, a photo she captioned, ” Always camera ready🌸.”

Although Ka’Oir and the “So Icy” rapper were dressed to the nines in their fly attire, it was the position of the model’s purse that grabbed the attention of fans.
“Get ya purse off the floor Idcidcidcidc y tf your bag on the floor !! @keyshiakaoir it’s the lil things.. I said wtf I said 🤷🏾♀️.”
“When spare meets no expense ! Keyshia hold your bag, it’s bad luck to have your bag on the floor 🧐.”
“Purses on the floor are a noooooo. It keeps you broke, it’s meant to be on a table not a floor 👎🏾.”
“Sis you better pick that bag up off the floor, cmon now Ik u know better Queen😷.”
Other folks didn’t see the uproar.
“Why ya’ll worry about her purse being on the floor she clearly ain’t broke 🤣.”
“Ya’ll talmbout her bag but u steady jinxing her 🙅🏽.”
As Ka’Oir and Gucci have both made it clear that finances are not an issue by taking stunting to another level, fans have questioned why the “I Get the Bag” rapper is apparently refusing to increase his current child support payments.

Sheena Evans, the mother of Gucci’s 11-year-old son Keitheon, is demanding the musician be locked up for failing to pay her attorney’s fees amid their current child support battle. She claimed he has yet to pay the $2,495 dollars owed to her lawyer, according to People magazine. She’s also claiming that he’s failed to hand over the necessary paperwork to resolve their case.
“Not only has the Respondent demonstrated that he has no concern for the authority of this Court, or for the deadlines set by this Court, Respondent has also exhibited an alarming disregard of the consequences of his contemptuous behavior,” Evans’ attorney said in a filing in Superior Court of Fulton County in Atlanta. “He could care less.”
Evans and her attorney are urging the courts to give the rapper time behind bars until he can cough up the money and cooperate. She’s requesting that Gucci’s child support payments be bumped up from $2,026 a month to $20,000.
