Gucci Mane’s Son’s Mother Wants Him Locked Up in On-Going Child Support Battle

Gucci Mane‘s ex said the rapper has blatantly disregarded orders from the court, and she wants him thrown in jail for it.

In a newly reported filing in Atlanta’s Superior Court of Fulton County, Sheena Evans told a judge that the “Lemonade” creator has failed to pay $2,495 of her legal fees as ordered by the court. The two have been engaged in a nasty child support battle over their son Keitheon Davis for some time.

Through her attorney, Evans said Mane’s failure to fork over the money is “outrageous and egregious,” and he doesn’t care about repercussions.

“Not only has the respondent demonstrated that he has no concern for the authority of this court or for the deadlines set by this court, respondent has also exhibited an alarming disregard of the consequences of his contemptuous behavior,” Evans’ attorney wrote. “He could care less.”

Evans also claimed that Mane was ordered to turn in documents for their child support case and never did, and she wants the court to sanction him $1,000 in addition to locking him up.

In November, Evans tried to get her child support increased from $2,076 a month to $20,000, because she said Mane has made a lot more money since he left prison in 2011. She also pointed to a rumored $1 million price tag for his wedding to Keyshia Ka’Oir as proof of an opulent lifestyle, since the couple wed on BET in 2017.

Mane, meanwhile, referred to Evans’ requested child support increase as “suspect” in court papers and claimed that she spends frivolously. In fact, he said his ex spends $1,000 each month on clothes for their son, $800 on dry cleaning and $2,800 each month on extracurricular activities.

The Atlanta-reared rapper also tried to get Evans’ request thrown out, because he said his monthly income hasn’t changed much over the years.

When Mane was ordered to pay $2,026 in 2011, he was reportedly pulling in $24,000 every month, and as of 2018 his net worth was reportedly $20 million.
