Former “Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta” star Reginae Carter is proving that people don’t need makeup to be considered beautiful.
The 20-year-old, who’s known for getting dolled up quite frequently, recently flossed her natural beauty all over social media. She took to her Instagram feed on Wednesday and posted an image of herself sporting casual wear and seemingly no makeup. She rocked a blush-pink-and-gold zip-up tracksuit with matching-colored sneakers and a fanny pack.
Carter rocked her signature black-and-honey-blond tresses, but appeared to opt for a completely natural non-makeup look, captioning her photo with a heart emoji.
Fans and supporters of the reality star fell for her simple-yet-stylish look.
“Simplicity and stylish at its best 🔥😍,” one fan commented underneath Carter’s image. You’re beautiful boo 😘.”
Another fan added, “Plaine jane but you look so pretty 😍😍🔥👏🏽I love the fresh face.”
Someone else commented, “You been feelin this blush/pink color girl lol I love you when your like tis NATURAL NAE 💕💕 !!!!”
Others were not fawning over Carter’s relaxed look, however.
“Too much pink and them lips chapped babe 🤦🏽♀️. I love you Nae but you have to stop smoking with Lucci 🤣.”
“Looking gorgeous but need to lose some weight.”
Carter appears to be comfortable in her naturalness and isn’t afraid to let folks know. Over the years, Carter has fought off detractors who’ve bashed her appearance. Last year, she went viral after her classy clapback at a fan who suggested that she undergo breast enhancement.
“You lit! all you need to do is get you some breast implants! no shade!!! because i think you LIT!!” the commenter wrote underneath her photo.
The celeb made it perfectly clear that she was secure with her body and wasn’t here for society’s beauty standards, replying back, “I’m good. Society ruined you tho.”
Earlier in February, she also encountered a social media troll who urged her to wear makeup after posting a bare-face selfie, but her mother Toya Wright stepped in, firing back, “She don’t need s–t. She’s beautiful with or without.”
Despite social media trolls’ negative comments, Carter receives an overwhelming amount of support from her fans.
“You are beautiful just the way you are.”
“Girl ur boobs are fine. Don’t put that on your body. Why would anyone suggest that.”
“Girl they be hating but you cute to me 😍.”
