Reality star Reginae Carter shared a photo showing off her latest fashion–forward look, but, as always, the moment was overshadowed by her critics. Now, Carter’s loyal fans say they’ve had enough with the slander.
Carter, 20, posed for the camera sporting a snazzy snakeskin short set from online retailer Fashion Nova and accessorized the look with a Gucci fanny pack and pair of gold bracelets.
“These thighs be saving lives 🤷🏾♀️ I’m tellin ya 💋,” the “Growing Up Hip-Hop: Atlanta” star captioned the photo. “2 piece from @fashionnova ❣️”
It was only a matter of time, however, before Carter’s haters came out the woodwork to make disparaging remarks about her short, curvy frame.
Look at her “lil midget legs,” one critic commented.
“Them thighs could take somebody’s life,” another joked.
“Whew chile, big dennamuthafucka,” one user chimed in, pointing to Carter’s apparent weight gain.
“The offspring tells all,” another added. “This exactly how [her mother] Toya was shaped b4 she did her body😩😩.”
Fans rushed to the aspiring actress’ defense, offering words of encouragement while also blasting the haters who they said were only envious of Reginae’s look.
“People really do the most on here. She looks good. Period!,” wrote one fan. “Some of y’all could neva.”
“Omg please let this girl live 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾. Ppl are so fucking negative 🤦🏽♀️,” a fellow user agreed.
“Sis you look good,” someone else wrote. “Forget what these ppl say 😘.”
As of late, fans can’t help but fawn over Carter’s thicker frame. However, her added pounds have also sparked new pregnancy rumors. Rumblings of a possible “bun in the oven” have been swirling for some time but were reignited last week after the now 20-year-old shared a fashion post, in which her face was noticeably much more round.
Fans think she could be pregnant by on-again, off-again rapper boyfriend YFN Lucci, but Carter has denied it.
“Ain’t nobody having a baby, it’s cool,” she wrote in response to the speculation.
