It’s a wonder who’s enjoying themselves more, Ashanti in Trinidad & Tobago or the fans who’ve been looking at her photos from there.
Because the “Foolish” singer has been posting pictures from the Caribbean country since she arrived last month for Carnival. She also shot a video for her single “The Road”with with Soca artist Machel Montano.

Since arriving in Trinidad & Tobago, folks have praised the 38-year-old for having an all-natural figure when she appeared on stage with Montano. They also went crazy over a video of her twerking and had a lot to say about her Carnival costume, which had a bunch of blue feathers and not much else.
Some of Ashanti’s latest photos show her in a hot pink bikini posing on a beach, and folks lost it over those too.
On top of that, on Friday (March 15), she posted a photo of herself with the retired Jamaican sprinter and 8 time Olympic gold medal winner Usain Bolt. In that picture, Ashanti is rocking a skimpy red bikini with a matching headband wrapped around her short blonde hair. Bolt, meanwhile, poses shirtless with just a few gold chains on.
“Maybe I can beat him in the triple jump tho?” wrote Ashanti in the photo.
Of course, a lot of the fellas commented about how much they loved the post, but there were also a good number of guys who didn’t like that Bolt was so close to their R&B dream girl.
“He to close he need to triple jump the other way 😂😂,” one person wrote.
“This the reason you not responding to my texts?” another guy asked.
At the same time, a lot of women appreciated that Bolt had his shirt off in the picture, and others thought he and Ashanti should begin a romance.
“They’d make a cute couple,” someone wrote.
“YALL BOTH FINE 😍,” wrote another.
Ashanti also posted a clip of herself on Friday with Bolt and Montano dancing, which also got a lot of attention.
