Looks like Kenya Moore would prefer to hear Jeannie Mai’s thoughts on paying spousal support rather than former co-star Nene Leakes‘. But expressing her feelings led to fierce dismissal from Instagram users.
During Leakes’ guest hosting gig on “The Real” Friday, she jumped in to share her thoughts on a matter while co-host Mai was finishing her remarks.
“I was married to somebody who had more money than me,” Mai begins on the March 2 episode of the show. “But because I was a stronger earner, and we lived in California … I had to end up paying him my earnings. … It was an emotional thing. It’s not just—”
“I paid spousal support when [my husband Gregg and I] broke up,” Leakes interjects while Mai tried to get her thoughts in order. “We have all been blessed, which is why we had to pay spousal support.”
Several fans weighed in on the matter on the talk show’s Instagram page and one didn’t appreciate Leakes interrupting Mai to state her opinion.
“I would have rather Jeannie finish her statement then to hear nene comment 😒” user @adenma29 remarked.
The comment was liked by Moore, who has famously clashed with Leakes, despite the latter previously insisting there’s no issue between the women.
Fans who noticed the action were quick to call out Moore and blasted her for losing her peach after season 10 on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”

Moore was axed from “RHOA” after she failed to share her private life with husband Marc Daly in front of Bravo cameras. She said she chose to step away from the show so as to avoid any “drama” during her high-risk pregnancy.
As for her and Leakes, the O.G. “RHOA” star shaded Moore last fall when she said she felt Moore deserved to be back on the series. Fans later called for her to repair their relationship, but Leakes insisted the two are not friends.
“@belleneges79 don’t understand why people keep using that word for she and i! We are co-workers period🤷🏽♀️ i don’t see the problem,” she said on Instagram in October.
