Xscape singer Tiny Harris drew backlash this week for posting photos of her and her 2-year-old daughter just three days after her husband’s sister passed away.
The singer’s husband, rapper T.I., lost his sister Precious Harris last week after her car accident the previous week. The Harris family seemed devastated by the 66-year-old’s death and appears to be pushing forward after the loss.
Tiny took to Instagram on Monday, Feb. 25, and shared a series of images that featured herself and her daughter Heiress Harris participating in “mommy and me” photos. The duo donned matching studded sunglasses and Adidas outfits while twinning on matching cars.

The mother-daughter duo appeared to have taken their photo shoot in front of their Atlanta home. Tiny captioned the picture of herself and baby Heiress, “At the crib flexin for the gram with my #Lucky7 👑💜.”

The mother of four was instantly flooded with critical comments from fans who expressed that it was “way too soon” to post any pictures of anything with her sister-in-law’s death happening less than a week ago.
“I woulda have taken the pics that’s ok I just don’t if I would of posted them 🤦🏾♀️,” one person commented. “You don’t have to wallow in sadness but this is a lil disrespectful to the family.”
“All of this while Tip’s sis just died. Wow smh definitely bad timing 😩,” another negative Nelly commented.
Fans quickly rushed to Tiny’s defense, denouncing those who criticized her post.
“Wtf is wrong with ya’ll? They supposed to just be miserable?” one fan said in resistance. “Precious wouldn’t want that🙌🏽 .”
Another user wrote, “I mean she do have children that she have to stay strong for & she do have a life that she has to carry on with y’all act like they have to be perfect they humans to DANGGG🤦🏾♀️.”
Tiny herself also clapped back at detractors coming for her.
“I wish all u dummies stop acting like we aren’t suppose to have regular moments, pick ourselves up for the ones that are still here!”
The singer’s sister-in-law died on Friday, Feb. 22, after getting into a severe car accident. Sources told TMZ that Precious had been in critical condition and nonresponsive since the accident.

The entire Harris family has taken the death of their loved one extremely hard. Tiny posted a sweet tribute to Precious in an Instagram post on Friday that read, “You will always be MY GIRL! Everybody truly loved Precious if u ever met her but me & u girl we had a very special relationship. … We gone celebrate you & all our great memories of u for the rest of our lives!! We miss u so much lady!!! Till we meet again R.I.H 💔.”
