‘I’m About to Faint’: Tamar Braxton Lands Dream Role After Winning ‘Celebrity Big Brother’

The wins just keep on coming for Tamar Braxton.

The singer is fresh of her prize-winning turn on “Celebrity Big Brother” and now, she’s landed the chance to guest star on “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

On the CBS soap opera, Braxton will play Chef Chambre in a scene with actors Don Diamont, who plays Bill Spencer, and Heather Tom, whose character is Katie Logan. Katie and Bill are set up on a private dinner date by an anonymous cupid, according to a Feb. 19 report from Entertainment Weekly. Her episode will air on March 28.

Braxton’s opportunity is typically the next step for a winner of the “Big Brother,” franchise, which has only had two seasons of the celebrity edition in America. Broadway star Marissa Jaret Winokur, who won the first season of “Celebrity Big Brother,” played a wedding planner during her episode.

However, setting foot onto the set of the three-decade-old daytime show will likely be particularly special for Braxton. She named her 5-year-old son Logan Vincent Herbert, after the character Brooke Logan, one of the original four characters that the series centers around.

That’s something Braxton, who is currently filming her guest spot, spoke to when she announced the news of her inclusion on the show on Instagram Feb. 20.

“Not the Best picture but the BEST thing ever!!! I’ve named my son after #BrookeLogan she’s been in my dressing room talking to me and I’m about to faint🤦🏽‍♀️ #fanningout #beenwatchingsinceIwas10 and y’all tweets are SUPER FUNNY!!! Oh!! How I’ve missed my Tamartianfriends💕💯🆗,” the star captioned a screenshot of EW’s tweet.

As excited as Braxton was about her new gig, fans were just as overjoyed.

“How dope! Don’t we all love #Brookelogan 💕Excited for you Tay!!❤”

“🎉🥂🥂 to securing the bags🥂”

“Happy for you👏👏After everything you have went through!!!God had a bigger plan!”

“@tamarbraxton you sure have started this year off right honey this is awesome ♓️💜”

Braxton is continuing to add to her list of jobs since exiting the “Big Brother” house and taking home the $250,000 prize last week. After she and most of her siblings and their mother walked off the set of “Braxton Family Values” last year over a payment dispute, she and the family will be back on the WEtv show for season seven.

The official Twitter and Instagram pages for the reality show announced all five sisters and — Tamar, ToniTowandaTrina and Traci Braxton — will come back on the small screen in April.
