R&B singer Ashanti has fans going wild over her slim physique after posting a series of thirst trap photos on social media this week.
The 38-year-old artist took to Instagram on Feb. 12 and shared two spicy photos of herself strutting her in-shape frame. In the first image, she appeared to be gazing at a skyline through a floor-to-ceiling window on an upper floor of a skyscraper as she sported a black Chanel cropped sweater that revealed her bare belly, a pair of Yamaha multi-colored sweatpants sagging a little below her waistline, and matching Retro High OG Air Jordans.
She wrote in the photo caption of herself facing the window, “It’s easier to go down a hill then to go up it… but the view is much better at the top.. ~ Henry ward Beecher.”
In the second image, Ashanti showboated her aviator-type sunglasses and bold red lip while adding the caption, “Put that thang in sport..”
Fans went wild over the “Body on Me” singer’s fit body and fashion style.
“💪🏾 DAMN Shan!! Crushing the game!!” a fan exclaimed. “Body out of this worldddd🔥.”
Another social media user commented, “Drippy fit and body goals! Are you vegan? bc if so.. i’ll go vegan 😭.”
“🔥🙌🏾 Ashanti out here serving looks and body. Honey we are ready for your comeback.”
Staying in shape and fitness appears to be important to Ashanti. The star told Buzzfeed in 2017 that she typically eats extremely healthy and exercise on the regular to maintain her figure.
“For me it’s about eating healthy and taking care of yourself,” she said. “I’m embracing who I am naturally, so I go to the gym and work with an awesome trainer, I work with an herbalist, I do detoxes, I juice. I’m heavy with my kales and ginger, it’s very important to be aware of what you’re putting in your body.”
As far as making a musical comeback, Ashanti indicated that she’s been in the music studio recording new songs. She told Page Six in January that she was trying to explore different musical sounds in R&B.
“It’s really important not to put all of your eggs in one basket or to be one-dimensional. Now more than ever, you have to keep the attention span and you have to keep a lot of things going on,” she said.
