Skyy’s daughter was born three months premature on Jan. 4, 2017 and only weighed 1 lb. She suffers from hydrocephalus, a medical condition that is an abnormal accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid within cavities in the brain and causes bleeding.

Supporters of Skyy and her 1-year-old daughter were amazed by the little girl’s strength and were happy to see her doing well.

“Wow she’s such a soldier,” a fan wrote. “Glad to see her making a full recovery. Keep being that awesome mom and stay strong for her!❤️.”

A second person wrote, “Wow she’s such a strong little one I can’t believe she’s sitting up already. God is Great! All the time! Lovin’ that smile😍.”

The alleged father of Skyy’s daughter, rapper Fetty Wap was at baby Alaiya’s bedside amid her brain surgery. He shared an Instagram video thanking fans who offered their support.

“I just want to thank all yall for sending your prayers and love [for my] baby girl. I appreciate that shit,” he said.
