Fans Rave About Keyshia Ka’Oir’s ‘Natural’ Glow in Snapchat Workout Video

Keyshia Ka’Oir, the wife of rapper Gucci Mane, wowed social media users after she shared a video of herself seemingly without makeup.

Ka’Oir is usually glammed-up from head to toe in all of her Instagram content, so it was refreshing for fans to see her natural beauty. The 34-year-old took to her social media on Jan. 27 and shared a recording of her and her husband’s routine at the gym.

“Stairmaster today level 17 an hour. I already did 30 minutes. … 30 minutes to go,” Ka’Oir said in the video while showing off her bare face.

She added the caption, “Health is Wealth @kaoirfitness #TheWopsters.”

Fans — apparently unaware of or discounting the effect of the Snapchat filter Ka’Oir applied to the video — immediately chimed in to say how “beautiful” she looked without any makeup.

“You loook sooo good without make up ,tooo! Perfection 😍,” a fan commented.

“You do not need make up, your natural beauty is on 🔥,” another added.

“Perfect skin without makeup 😍. What’s your skin routine?” said another fan.

A third person complimented Ka’Oir for keeping her body in shape.

“Omg sis..an hour..lol that’s why your waist is so tiny. You motivating me 😍!”

Ka’Oir admitted to being a fitness enthusiast and currently owns athleisure line “Ka’Oir Fitness” which was launched in 2011. Her collections offers a variety of fitness and health-related products, such as waist trainers, meal plans, detox tea, and other merchandise.

Ka’Oir’s desire to live a healthier lifestyle also played a major role for her husband’s dramatic weight-loss when he emerged from prison in 2016. Gucci Mane lost a total of 50 pounds with a strict no-carb diet and workout routine.

“There were days that he would cheat, and then I’m like, ‘You can’t cheat: you’re not like that!'” Ka’Oir told Fader in 2017.

Gucci told Revolt a few years ago that it was extremely important for him to change his health.

“I was drinking pints of lean a week and smoking pounds of weed and just doing all kinds of drugs,” the rapper said. “The whole way I was handling myself before I went to jail was just so negative [and] it showed in my body.”

Independent journalism still matters.

We hope this story was worth your time. For over 14 years, Atlanta Black Star has stayed Black-owned and independently run. We didn't get here by waiting on ad budgets that were never built to prioritize us. Our readers did that.

Corporate support for Black media has always been thin. Outlets like ours get roughly 1% of the $170 billion spent on U.S. advertising each year, and that margin is shrinking further as advertisers walk back the DEI-linked commitments they made in 2020. That's the backdrop. It's not why we're asking.

The wider picture isn't any steadier. Newspaper ad revenue has fallen more than 80% since 2005, and local newsrooms are closing at a rate of roughly two a week nationwide. When outlets go under, it's rarely the ones built to center a Black perspective from the ground up that get to stick around.

We know a request for support isn't why you came here. But without readers choosing to fund this work directly, the depth of reporting we can do at home and abroad shrinks along with everyone else's. If you're not in a position to give, that doesn't change how much we value you as a reader.

If you are able to, a recurring contribution does more for us than a single one-time gift, because it lets us plan the next investigation instead of just the next invoice. It takes about 30 seconds, no long form, no account. Thank you for continuing to support independent journalism and freedom of the press.
