“Growing Up Hip Hop” star Angela Simmons got a wave of admiration from online fans who commended her for showing off her natural body.
Simmons continues to ignore critics who’ve tried body-shaming her in the past. She recently shared a video of herself rocking a bikini on the beach while on vacation in Sulphur Springs, Texas. She appeared to take pride in her natural curvaceous figure as she assured fans that her body is in no way surgically enhanced.

Several fans chimed in under the reality star’s video and applauded her for flaunting her natural, non-enhanced physique.

Simmons, 30, was not always the confident woman that fans now see. She admitted to suffering from body-image issues during her teenage years on the show “Run’s House.” She also perceived herself as “fat” compared to her sister Vanessa Simmons, who’s naturally slim.
“Growing up, like honestly speaking, when I was younger, I grew up kind of like thicker.” Angela told “The Breakfast Club” radio show during an interview in June 2018. “I didn’t embrace my curves because I was so young. … I had body issues. … I was concerned that I was fat. I was like, ‘I just feel fat.’ I always had that conversation. I would cry about it. And I would feel like everyone around me was smaller. I just didn’t get it.”
The 30-year-old mother said when she turned “19 or 18″ she learned to be more in control of her body and began working out and eating healthy.
Although Simmons still deals with online critics who try to body-shame her, she loves her curvy body unconditionally.
“I’m good!” she told the show hosts in June.
