People are shocked to learn that reality actress Tommie Lee will no longer star on “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta.”
Lee reportedly took to her Instagram story Wednesday, January 2 to address fans who wanted to know if her recent legal disputes would affect her job on the VH1 series.
“I loved my old job but I no longer work with them,” the 34-year-old wrote.
One person pressed Lee about her IG story to clarify what she meant. “Did that story mean you quit LHH???” the fan asked.
Lee confirmed she vacated the VH1 series by replying, “#Facts.” She also added that she was moving on to “bigger” opportunities.
Fans were devastated to learn their favorite cast-member will no longer be appearing on LHHATL.
“I’ll miss you💧, you were my favorite… But why???”
“It’s not going to be the same without you baby. awww I’m gonna miss you.”
“Noooo you were my favorite and the realist on the show❤️.”
Lee left season 7 of the VH1 show on shaky grounds after being put on blast for her excessive drinking. At one point, she was prevented from filming due to her violent outbursts. She did, however, reveal during the season that alcoholism ran deep in her family. She added that drinking helps her cope with a lot of hardships going on in her life.
“I don’t really have support. To deal with the thoughts of my mom, not liking me, hating me and the stress that I’m going through with my brothers and sisters like how big my heart is and open to everybody– they don’t feel the same way about me so that kinda like hurts,” the star said. Lee was recently released from jail in December 2018 after being arrested for a slew of charges including aggravated assault, simple battery, first-degree child cruelty and disruption of public schools.
Although Lee confirmed that she quit the show, folks are still speculating that her recent legal charges are the reason she won’t be back on the “Love and Hip Hop” franchise. Producers of the show haven’t confirmed if Lee will make an appearance on the show for season 8.
Lee comes after a list of other stars who’ve quit the LHH franchise such as Joseline Hernandez, Masika Kalysha and K. Michelle.
