K. Michelle‘s recent video had folks saying she looks a lot like the “Queen Bee” of rap amid others growing impatient for her to drop new tunes.
The “Can’t Raise a Man” singer took to Instagram on Friday and appeared to be in the holiday spirit. She used a Santa Snapchat filter on a video she shared of herself singing “Jingle Bell Rock.” In the recording, she was wearing a v-neck yellow sweater and blunt-cut tresses with a bang as she prepared to head out on a date night.

Fans flooded the artist’s comments with requests for new music.
“So are you gone give us this mixtape we been needing sis come on 🤷🏾♀️ I’m over here going through it girl & your music gets me through it. “That’s a whole lot of love that I done wasted🎼🎼.”

Other people shaded K. Michelle for starting to resemble rapper Lil’ Kim.
“You look just like Lil Kim😫.”
“You starting to look like a Who from Whoville. 👄Stop 👏 before 👏 you 👏 turn 👏 into 👏 Lil Kim!”
One fan jumped to her defense and noted, “She has on a filter people 🤦♀️.”
Another commented, “Looking beautiful as ever! 😘❤️.”
K. Michelle announced a few weeks ago via social media that she will become a new mother in 2019. She’s expressed her desires for wanting to have more children and she received great news that her surrogate was approved to carry her twins.
“My Surrogate has been approved!” she wrote on her Instagram Story December 19. “They say she’s really kind and a perfect match for my babies. I thank God for her. … She knows who she is, she honestly is a blessing, my guardian angel. God knew.”
The star explained last year that she’d been suffering from fertility issues, but it looks like she’s on her journey to new motherhood.
