‘So Cute:’ Gabrielle Union Shows off Baby Kaavia from the Set of New ‘Bad Boys’ Spin-Off Series

Gabrielle Union continues to show off her new baby girl Kaavia on Instagram to wide fanfare.

The new mom has been busy filming the TV series, “L.A.’s Finest.,” a spin-off of the “Bad Boys” movie franchise she starred in with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. As she took a break between scenes, Union shared a sweet photo of herself and her 1-month-old daughter.

“The New Odd Couple 😁x🤨✊🏾 @kaaviajames blessing my trailer on the set of #LAsFinest making her mama super happy…meanwhile she stays ready and focused #TheResistance 👶🏾,” read the caption.

As much as Union adored the look of her daughter, whom she shares with husband and Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade, fans loved it just the same.

“Adorbs! @gabunion your smile is genuinely full of love ❤️ that Kaavia is so #blessed.”

“It is really amazing to see the joy you have @gabunion by the gift of @kaaviajames 🌈”

“Those cheeks! 😘”

“Awww ❤️ She’s a beautiful angel 😇”

“So Cute, Congratulations 😊🎉”

“She is jump shot pose ready!”

Union sharing tons of photos of her baby girl shows the excitement the actress has over finally welcoming a child of her own. She and Wade discussed the challenges of becoming parents on “Super Soul Sunday” earlier this month.

“We’re finally getting to this place where’s there’s this little person that will call me mom,” Union said. “Actually, not a problem getting pregnant, it was holding the baby and we discovered finally what I have is called adenomyosis. We just decided as a family, the best and safest route was a surrogate. For us, it’s our embryo, so our surrogate has no genetic ties to our baby.”

In the star’s memoir, “We’re Going to Need More Wine,” Union explained she had multiple miscarriages.

“I have had eight or nine miscarriages,” she candidly wrote. “For three years, my body has been a prisoner of trying to get pregnant — I’ve either been about to go into an IVF cycle, in the middle of an IVF cycle, or coming out of an IVF cycle.”
