Evelyn Lozada recently uploaded a photo posing with her son, Leo and her ex-fiancé Carl Crawford. The pic not only proved the pair is winning at the co-parenting thing but also showed exactly why Leo is Carl Jr.
“Our baby Leo is ‘Star of The Week’ ⭐️⚾️💙 #CarlLeoCrawford #HeWasSurprised #CoParentingLife lol 🙏🏽❤️,” the “Basketball Wives” star captioned the image uploaded to Instagram Monday, Dec. 17.
The 4-year-old was the best kid in the class for the week and made a collage showcasing his family to present in front of his peers. To mark the occasion, Lozada, Crawford and Leo’s aunt and uncle surprised him in class, leading Carl Jr. to race up to his namesake father and gave him a hug. Afterward, the group went out to eat and Carl Jr. enjoyed a treat of pancakes, scrambled eggs and strawberries.
Fans who saw the sweet moment remarked on how much the toddler looks like his dad and realized just why he was named after the retired Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder.
“If he don’t look like his daddy @evelynlozada you were just the vessel! But a powerful vessel #momstrong ❤️”
“omg he looks like daddy 🥰 he looks so happy 😍🥰”
“I always thought Leo looked like you. With him sitting next to his father, they are twins. 😍”
“I LOVE LOVE LOVE when parents are able to co-parent ❤️ he looks just like his father!”
“Omg they’re twins!! He’s getting SOOOO big! I feel like you just had him 🙏🏼😍”
“Thought he looked like you but nope he’s definitely his dads twin.”
Lozada and Crawford got engaged to be wed in December 2013 but called things off in August 2017.
“They did break up but it was over infidelity back in February,” Lozada’s representative told UsWeekly at the time. “Right now they are focused on being responsible and loving parents to their 3-year-old kid.” The rep also noted the former couple “do remain friends” but were not living together.
