It seems everyone has had something to say about Cardi B‘s recent split from husband Offset, and reality star Kirk Frost felt the need to add his two cents.
It didn’t end well, however.
Frost, who stars in “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta,” found himself getting appropriately dragged by fans after responding to a seemingly heartfelt post by Offset begging forgiveness from his wife after several public cheating scandals. In a clip posted to Instagram on Friday, the Migos rapper revealed his one and only birthday wish.
“I only have one birthday wish, and that’s to get my wife back, Cardi,” Offset began. “We’ve been going through a lot of things right now in the media and I wanna apologize to you Cardi. I know I embarrassed you. I made you look crazy doing things I had no business doing [and] partaking in activities I shouldn’t have been taking in.”
“I apologize for breaking your heart, breaking our promise. And breaking God’s promise,” he continued, acknowledging stepping out on his wife of one year.
“I didn’t f–k that girl, but I was entertaining it,” he said before making several more pleas for forgiveness.
The emotional post spurred words of support from fans and celebrities alike, including Frost, who responded with multiple “prayer hands” emojis seemingly praying Cardi would eventually take Offset back. Fans weren’t having it, however, and argued Frost, 49, is the last person to be encouraging forgiveness considering his own public cheating scandal last year.
Frost’s own marriage to fellow reality star Rashida Frost came crashing down after it was revealed that he’d fathered a love child with another woman, Jasmine Washington. Frost initially denied the cheating rumors, however, a DNA test revealed Washington’s child was indeed his.
“Boyyyy, I know GAHTDAMN well your milk dud head ass ain’t talkin’,” one fan wrote.
“You’re making it worse!” another fan chimed in.
“Take yo ass on,” said another fan.
“We don’t wanna hear nun you have to say sir,” one woman wrote.
“Your cheating ass is the first one to comment,” another opined. “Damn y’all men. Women put up with too much shit from y’all.”
One man advised Kirk to “raise his side kids” and keep his nose out of Cardi and Offset’s business.
Cardi announced that she and Offset were no longer together earlier this month, saying the two had simply “fallen out of love.”
