It’s no secret that Nene Leakes and Porsha Williams have been duking it out lately over some gossip on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” but Leakes is sick of fans assuming all her flyers are about Williams.
Leakes and Williams have been at odds over Kandi Burruss sharing a rumor that Williams’ fiancé, Dennis McKinley, has gotten the names of past girlfriend tattooed on him. Leakes and her fellow castmates agreed not to mention it to Williams, but she learned about the speculation anyway. On the Dec. 2 episode, it appeared Leakes was blamed for mentioning it, leading her to tear into Williams on Instagram over the next few days.
“When you a ride or die chick!!!! Hey lil sis, i got your back! Lil sis: yeah ok! Then throws big sis under the bus! What the F—… #loyalty #dontbitethehandthatfeedsyou I’m out… #beloyaltosomebody,” Leakes said on her account after the episode aired.
She also posted two pink-and=white flyers on Instagram in the past week. One read, “Loyalty is Royalty!” and the other said, “Sometimes I just have to tell myself it’s not worth the jail time!”
Speculation erupted on her comments, and many assumed the star continued to respond to Williams.
By Wednesday night, Leakes had enough and set the record straight on Instagram Live.
“For those of you guys that follow me on Instagram, you know I post pink and white flyers every day on my Instagram all the time,” she says on Dec. 5. “All with good jokes and good laughs. … So it’s so funny how you guys just pick out whichever f—ing flyer you wanna pick out and make a big deal out of it. It’s so ridiculous to me and it’s unfortunate and it’s sad.
“You ain’t being paid to comment,” she added. “Stop wasting your time. Why is it so many people on social media in their feelings? Get out yo feelings. Ain’t no money in there! The hell are you in there for? … People forever have s— to say… And then you post a pink flyer like ‘Who she talking to?’ Who she talkin’ to? S—, if I wanted to talk to somebody, I’d talk directly to ’em. … I don’t have to put up a pink and white flyer to be talking to anybody, OK?”
This is not the first time Leakes has had to clear the air about such posts. Over the summer, she went on Live to declare she had no problems with Kenya Moore, despite speculation to the contrary.
