“Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” star Tommie Lee informed fans on Sunday that they would be able to send her monetary gifts as she continues to sit behind bars.
Lee was arrested in October for violating a court order that demanded she refrained from making contact with her daughter and was booked without bail. Just 24 hours before she was hauled off to jail, the star was arrested for allegedly slamming her daughter’s head into a locker at the child’s Cobb County middle school. The star was charged with felony aggravated assault, simple battery, first-degree child cruelty and disruption of public schools.
Fans haven’t heard much about Lee’s arrest since she’s been behind bars until this weekend. Someone from Lee’s crew uploaded an Instagram Live story with the year “2019” and the address where folks can send her fan mail. The individual also posted the website where fans could send money to “Smart Deposit.Com” which had folks speculating if the star was experiencing financial hardships while in jail.
One person wrote, “I hope Tommie okay in there.”
Lee has received a tremendous amount of support from people who feel the star was only disciplining her daughter and not abusing her. Tokyo Vanity, defended the mother of two against critics calling Lee a “child abuser” and wrote, “Tommie got arrested for being a real f***in parent … if she ain’t discipline her kids then ya’ll would holler she unfit b**ch pick one.”
However, people continued to scold Lee’s parenting skills and said she deserves to be punished for “abusing” her daughter.
“There’s a time and place for everything,” one fan wrote. “Those kids need to be removed, she is toxic. She didn’t have to slam her fuckin head into the locker, a body push would’ve sufficed. If your kids take you serious, giving the eye would’ve been enough.”
Another added, “Cruelty to children? F**k you tommie.”
