K. Michelle is back in the studio, and her new single has fans begging for more.
The “Maybe I Should Call” artist gave fans a small preview on Thursday of a song she’s been working on. She revealed to fans that she’s been in songwriting mode while working and has fallen back in love with music again. The slow ballad starts off with the verse “Looking back on my own gutter years, fighting back, holding my tears.”
“I just wrote this in 20 minutes. I’m back in my feelings,” K. Michelle wrote in an Instagram post. “Excuse me i’m a Bomb in love with music tonight. *I done lost my innocence and I ain’t loved right ever since* #R&Bmoney.”

The 33-year-old was clearly feeling the single she let fans hear as she bobbed her head to the lyrics, and the 45 seconds of song were an instant success with folks who told her to release the new single “ASAP!”

K. Michelle recently revealed in previews of the upcoming “Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood” reunion episode that she plans to have another child soon via surrogate or going through the pregnancy herself. She said, “Next month I finally take these embryos.”
