Tammy Rivera sat down for a radio interview and touched on her husband Waka Flocka Flame being unfaithful. It’s something they’ve both talked about in the past and also dealt with on “Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta.”
But while many presumably know about some of Waka’s infidelities, they probably weren’t aware that Tammy cheated as well. The 32-year-old said she didn’t sleep with anyone but was emotionally unfaithful.
“Hell yeah, [he’s cheated on me in the past], and I’ve cheated on him in the past,” Tammy revealed. “People only see once side to a story. Not while we were married. I haven’t had sex with anyone. Y’all think cheating is about sex?”
Elsewhere in the interview, Tammy talked about how difficult it is for Waka and other celebrities to dodge cheating rumors, and how they often get accused of wrongdoing when they’re innocent.
She also talked about forgiving her husband for being unfaithful and not letting his infidelities affect her self-esteem.
In fact, the New York native said she realized that Waka’s cheating had nothing to do with her and everything to do with him. And once that was learned, she never never forgot it.
“I don’t think it has anything do with me,” Rivera said about Waka’s cheating. “The insecurity is not the woman, the insecurity is in the man, and my husband told me that himself. He said there is nothing ever wrong with you.”
