Kenya Moore has been dealing with major pregnancy complications and now she’s confirmed she’ll have to deliver her baby early because of it.
“Tests confirmed I do have preeclampsia today,” Moore shared on her Instagram Story Wednesday, Oct. 31. “I will have to deliver #babydaly early but I’m being closely monitored to determine when. Thank you for all your love and well wishes❤️.”
Fans have poured out with positive comments for the mom-to-be, whose due date was originally on Thanksgiving Day.
“Hang in there Kenya and Baby Daly!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 You got this girl!”
“You and the baby will be fine. My grandson came the same way last week. Sending love and hugs. Can’t wait to see pics of the bundle of joy. Just relax and let God work.”
“I pray that everything go well and that your baby is born healthy!! Praying for you Kenya! ❤️”
“🙏🏽Prayers up for @thekenyamoore I am praying you have healthy baby.”
Moore, 47, initially shared her complications with her high-risk pregnancy on Monday, when she disclosed her regularly swollen feet was a symptom of a larger issue — a complication characterized by high blood pressure.
“I made fun of my swollen feet at @cynthiabailey10 party,” she said on Instagram Oct. 29. “Next day my tests came back for possible preeclampsia… I gained 17 lbs in ONE week due to severe swelling and water retention, high blood pressure, and excess protein in urine. This is NOT normal!”
The former star of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” said she had been undergoing a stress test to determine if she’d have to deliver her baby early. At the time, she told followers she was “staying positive.”
She also encouraged her “pregnant sisters” to keep up with doctor’s visits and inform their physicians “of any drastic changes.”
“Thank God I have great doctors. #babydaly #highrisk #love #family #miraclebaby #kenyamoore #babybump #pregnantover40,” she added.
