Quad Webb-Lunceford has been at odds with her “Married to Medicine” co-stars throughout the current season when it comes to sharing details of her divorce. And she says more tension is on the horizon as the series continues on.
“There’s gonna be more ups and downs, changes and turnarounds,” Webb-Lunceford told Atlanta Black Star exclusively on Tuesday, Oct. 23 at the “Rickey Smiley For Real” Season 5 Premiere screening. “There’s gonna be some shocking moments. There’s gonna be some more gossiping, more prying and probing, more being nosey and [looking at] what someone else is doing instead of focusing on their own lives.”
“I think I’ve been so successful because I focus on my own life,” she adds.
Webb-Lunceford has struggled with her castmates to get them to understand that she’s not interested in sharing the details of her nasty divorce from Dr. Gregory Lunceford with them.
“I just deal with s— on my own,” Webb-Lunceford explained in a confessional scene of a September episode. “It’s not to shade anybody, it’s not that I’m trying to push someone out of my life. I don’t know how to really go and lean on someone.”
Fans have regularly sided with Miss Quad, too, including when she had an explosive confrontation with Toya Bush-Harris over her lack of transparency on a recent episode.
“QUAD is the one going through something; why is it on HER to reach out to THEM!!! Please help me understand!! #Married2Med.”
“I still don’t understand WHY these women think Quad is obligated to share ALL her business. That is not how friendship works. People must be allowed to do things on their own time and in their own way! #Married2Med.”
“When one of your friends has been going through something serious like Quad, you don’t ambush her and bombard her with questions the minute she sits down. #TeamQuad #Married2Med.”
